About Taylor PTSA:
The Taylor High School Parent Teacher Student Association is a membership based, volunteer organization committed to the parents, teachers, and students of Taylor High School. Taylor PTSA replaced the previous volunteer group, Taylor Parents in Action, in 2019.
Why the change? A PTSA is supported by National PTA, Texas PTA and our local Katy Council of PTAs. It brings us in line with the rest of the district (we were the 63rd KISD PTA!), and it is familiar, as the majority of the schools feeding into Taylor have a PTA or PTSA.
What do we do?
Our members strive to boost parent and student engagement and support each aspect of THS through volunteer service, financial grants, teacher appreciation, various student programs, and student scholarships.
The PTSA will continue to offer scholarships for post-secondary education in the spring for graduating seniors that are PTSA members
Who can join? Why Join?
You may join the PTSA through our paper membership form or online at JoinPTA.org. Membership is open to everyone. They need not be local.
Benefits of PTA Membership include providing for student programs, student scholarships, teacher grants or wish list items. Discounts from partners of the TX PTA (TXPTA.org) and National PTA (PTA.org). Membership also provides an opportunity to be an advocate, a voice within our school, state, and nation as the association supports various legislation benefiting all students.
Cost to Join:
Students, THS Teachers/Staff, Parents and Community Members: $10
Honorary Life Membership Award recipient: $7.75
