About Taylor PTSA

The Taylor High School Parent Teacher Student Association is a membership-based volunteer organization committed to the parents, teachers and students of James E. Taylor High School.  Taylor PTSA replaced the previous volunteer group Taylor Parents in Action in 2019.

What do we do?

​

Our members strive to boost parent and student engagement and support each aspect of THS through volunteer service, financial grants, teacher appreciation, various student programs, and student scholarships.

​

The PTSA will continue to offer scholarships for post-secondary education in the spring for graduating seniors that are PTSA members

​

Who can join?

​

Membership is open to everyone; students, parents, teachers, staff, other family members and members of the community. You can join the PTSA online at JoinPTA.org.  Our membership year runs August 1st through July 31st.

Why join?

​

Benefits of PTA Membership include providing for student programs, student scholarships, teacher grants or wish list items. Discounts from partners of the TX PTA (TXPTA.org) and National PTA (PTA.org).  Membership also provides an opportunity to be an advocate, a voice within our school, state, and nation as the association supports various legislation benefiting all students.

Students, THS Teachers/Staff, Parents and Community Members: $10.50
Honorary Life Membership Award recipient: $7.75
